Ritz Cracker Stuffed Mushrooms

Though they have been in the recipe book for a long while, I made these for the first time only recently. I was stunned by how amazingly good they are.

Ingredients

  • 18 Ritz (or similar) Crackers, crumbled
  • 6 tablespoon Melted Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon snipped Parsley
  • teaspoon Salt
  • dash Pepper
  • 7 ½ ounce can minced Clams
  • 24 Mushroom caps
  • cup Cooking Sherry optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 360°.
  • Combine crackers and butter. Stir in parsley, garlic, salt, pepper, and clams.
  • Stuff into mushroom caps and place in casserole dish.
  • Pour sherry over mushroom caps if desired.
  • Bake 20 minutes.
