Coconut Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lb cleaned, divided Shrimp
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 ¼ cup Flour
  • Shredded Coconut

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine egg, milk, and sugar. Beat until combined.
  • Add flour and beat until smooth.
  • Dip shrimp in flour mixture and then in coconut.
  • Deep fry until golden brown.

Notes

Delicious, but loaded with sugar. This is a nice treat or appetizer, but I wouldn't make it a weekly meal.
