Coconut Shrimp
Protein disguised as candy.
Ingredients
- 1-2 lb cleaned, divided Shrimp
- 1 Egg
- ¼ cup Milk
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 ¼ cup Flour
- Shredded Coconut
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine egg, milk, and sugar. Beat until combined.
- Add flour and beat until smooth.
- Dip shrimp in flour mixture and then in coconut.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
Notes
Delicious, but loaded with sugar. This is a nice treat or appetizer, but I wouldn't make it a weekly meal.
