Pear Charoset
Every year I look for this recipe at passover, and every year I can't find it. I will post it here for safe keeping.
Ingredients
- 8 pears
- 4 cups crushed walnuts
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 8 tablespoons honey
- 16 tablespoons red wine
Instructions
- Chop pears into 1/2 to 3/4 inch pieces
- Place in a large bowl
- Add other ingredients
- Stir well, until pears are coated
- Cover & refrigerate
- Stir before serving
Notes
The measurements are a guideline. Use your taste buds. I tend to like a little more honey and a little less wine in the mix.
