Passover Popovers
From my Grandma Etta's kitchen. These are great any time of year, and are wonderful when served with butter or cinnamon-sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold Water
- ½ cup Oil
- 1 cup Matzo Meal
- 1 teaspoons Salt
- 4 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Manishewitz wine
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°
- In a medium pot, bring the Water & Oil to a boil
- Quickly stir in Matzo Meal & Salt while water is still boiling
- Remove from heat & let cool slightly
- Add Eggs, one at a time, stirring occasionally
- Add Sugar & Wine
- Pour mixture into a greased muffin tin
- Bake 30 minutes
