Matzo Meal Pancakes

As a child, I loved when my mom made these for breakfast. I always like them with cinnamon-sugar, but they are also good with a Kosher-for-Passover maple syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cups Milk
  • ¼ cups Water
  • ¼ cups Manishewitz wine
  • 1 cups Matzo Meal
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 4 Eggs

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat Milk, Water, & Wine
  • In a small bowl, combine Matzo Meal, Sugar, & Salt
  • Combine mixtures
  • Add Eggs, one at a time, and mix well
  • Pour batter onto a greased, hot, griddle making 3-4 inch circles
  • Fry pancake on both sides until golden brown
  • Serve immediately. Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated later.
